Finally, descending from its mountain top hideaway, comes SNOWBEAST (1977). Another monster-runs-wild entry in the dizzying world of low-budget TV movies. Penned by Joseph Stefano (THE OUTER LIMITS) and filmed in the dead of winter, SNOWBEAST has become a guilty pleasure for legions of fans. Sporting an impressive cast of Bo Svenson, Yvette Mimieux, Sylvia Sidney and Clint Walker, the film is played straight-faced, regardless of the wacky on-screen antics.
Included here are two HD versions of the film; the CBS LATE MOVIE edition from 1978 that clocked in at a running time of 72 Minutes, and the longer Original version, restored to 88 Minutes utilizing both digital and HD 35mm film elements.
